The Dish: Restaurants hold benefits

The next Farm Table dinner at Honey Salt, which begins at 6:30 p.m. Monday, will feature One Hope Winery. It’s $45, plus $25 for wine pairings; a portion of proceeds will be donated to breast-cancer research.

Additionally, half of all proceeds of One Hope Winery glasses and bottles sold throughout the month will be donated to breast-cancer research.

The restaurant, which is at 1031 S. Rampart Blvd., also will feature the Sagebrush Spritzer Oct. 30 in honor of Nevada Day. Containing roasted cherries and berries, gin, lemon juice and sparkling water, it will be $12. …

Settebello Pizzeria will celebrate two events next week at its west-side location at 9350 W. Sahara Ave. in Village Square. The restaurant will offer $1 Margherita pizzas and $5 glasses of wine on Monday to celebrate 1,111 Facebook “likes” and on Thursday to celebrate its first anniversary. Both events will run from 5 to 9 p.m. …

All three valley locations of Crazy Pita will participate in the Cooking With Kindness fund-raiser on Sunday in support of the Josh Stevens Foundation, which spreads a “be kind” message to local children. From 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., all proceeds from sales of Josh’s Favorite Pita (kefta pita) will be donated to the foundation. The location at The District at Green Valley Ranch in Henderson also will have face painters and balloon artists for kids. …

B With a Twist Catering & Events will hold its Taste of the Holidays dinner, a benefit for the Salvation Army, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday at 9272 Tamarus St. The dinner will feature some of the catering company’s top items, such as rock shrimp and tuna maki free-form sushi and sugar and spice shrimp. Lev Restaurant Group is raising funds this month for the Down Syndrome Organization of Southern Nevada. Local outlets of The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf will sell special gift cards, with $5 for each card sold donated to the organization. Other donations will be as follows: I Love Burgers locations will donate a percentage of burger sales, Daily Kitchen & Wellness will donate a percentage of all entree sales and Lobster ME will donate a percentage of all lobster-roll sales. …

Mercadito at Red Rock Resort, 11011 W. Charleston Blvd., has joined the Tacos for Strength campaign. Tacos created by three chefs (based in Chicago and Philadelphia) will be featured, one this month and one each in November and December. Five percent of proceeds from sales of the tacos ($17.50 for four at dinner or $13.50 for three at lunch) will be donated to Share Our Strength. …

PT’s Entertainment Group is holding a fund-raiser through December at its four Sean Patrick’s Irish Pub & Grill locations. It’s in honor of Madison “Maddy” Graves, founder and partner of Sean Patrick’s and a number of other local pubs. Guests are invited to make donations or add to their checks; proceeds will benefit Keep Memory Alive and the Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health. …

A number of other local restaurants also are raising funds for the fight against breast cancer. Among them:

Senor Frog’s at Treasure Island, 3300 Las Vegas Blvd. South, will donate $1 for every Tickled Pink Martini sold this month to the Smiles for Survivors Foundation, which supports local breast-cancer patients and survivors. The martini contains cherry vodka, Bailey’s Irish Cream, amaretto, strawberry liqueur and cream and sells for $13. …

Trevi at The Forum Shops at Caesars, 3500 Las Vegas Blvd. South, is featuring the Pretty in Pink menu this month, which includes hand-crafted Italian sodas in watermelon, cherry and strawberry ($5) and strawberry gelato ($6.50 per scoop). Ten percent of proceeds from sales of these items will be donated to Susan G. Komen. …

And Hussong’s Cantina and Slice of Vegas at Mandalay Place, 3950 Las Vegas Blvd. South, are featuring honey-chipotle salmon and a Devotion watermelon cosmo ($21 and $12, both at Hussong’s) and the Boobie Pizza ($15 at Slice of Vegas) this month. A portion of proceeds from sales of the items will be donated to the Save the Ta-Tas Foundation. …
