Water Cooler

Here are a few things in news, entertainment, sports and pop culture that we’ve been talking about lately.

■ Lynyrd Skynyrd BBQ & Beer, licensed by the Southern rock band, is set to open in December at Excalibur. Can’t wait to try the Free (Range) Bird and the Gimme Three Steps Chili.

■ Monday’s episode of “Two and a Half Men” draws almost 28 million viewers — the highest-rated episode of the sitcom ever — tuning in to see Charlie Sheen’s character killed off. Yet, like a particularly unfunny zombie, the show itself just keeps lurching along.

■ Mike Tyson u25B6 draws fire for being overly graphic while talking to Las Vegas sports talk show hosts about Sarah Palin’s alleged tryst with NBA star Glen Rice. Mike Tyson doing something inappropriate? It must be Sunday.
