Water Cooler: Olympic pregnancy, Billy Joe melt down, pre-peeled bananas

Here are a few things in news, sports, entertainment and pop culture that caught our eye last week.

■ Beach volleyball champion Kerri Walsh Jennings reveals that she was pregnant while winning her third gold medal at the London Olympics. If the Olympics ever adds a "Badass Mama" event, we know who's gonna win.

■ Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong melts down during a concert in Las Vegas. Weird, but not nearly as bad as the legendary Four Jacks and a Jill meltdown at the Sahara in '62.

■ A man who was mauled by a tiger after jumping into an exhibit at the Bronx Zoo says he wanted to become "one" with the animal. A few more minutes and he would have gotten his wish in a very literal way.

■ A supermarket chain in Austria is selling pre-peeled bananas. If you're too lazy to peel a banana, you pretty much deserve to starve.
