Water Cooler: Racy Elvis, ‘Sin City’ ruled out, McWings

Here are a few things in pop culture that caught our eye last week.
■ A Utah high school nearly cancels performances of a musical featuring songs by Elvis Presley after a parent complains that it’s too racy. So "Footloose" was a documentary?
■ The Las Vegas-based reality series "Sin City Rules" is canceled before its first full season even airs. Is it complicated to apply for one of those "This whole thing never really happened" waivers they used on "Dallas?"
■ The National Hockey League and its players agree to end a nearly four-month lockout. Show of hands: Who even knew the NHL wasn’t playing?
■ McDonald’s will test market chicken wings in select cities. At least – and unlike a "McNugget" – we can figure out where a chicken’s wing would be located.
