The College of Southern Nevada opened the doors to a new multicultural center at its North Las Vegas campus on Wednesday.
Administrators hope the space will raise engagement for CSN’s diverse student body — according to 2015 figures, 65 percent of the school’s students identify as a racial or ethnic minority. The center, which is located inside Room N-204, will also be used for community events, school officials said.
