The Henderson City Council appointed Cherryl Young as the resident commissioner to the Southern Nevada Regional Housing Authority Board of Commissioners.

SNRHA owns and manages public housing properties within the Southern Nevada region. SNRHA commissioners are vested with the legislative and fiscal responsibilities to provide housing options and opportunities in the area.

Young’s term will end Oct. 15, 2018.
