One person is hospitalized and police are looking for two others after a shooting Wednesday afternoon in the west valley, Las Vegas police said.

Police responded about 2:30 p.m. to the 1500 block of Jones Boulevard, near the intersection at Vegas Drive, where one person had at least one gunshot wound, Metro spokesman Officer Michael Rodriguez said.

The person, whose age and gender were not available, was taken to University Medical Center with wounds that were not life-threatening, Rodriguez said.

Police are looking for two males in connection with the shooting, Rodriguez said. Metro did not provide further description.

A perimeter has been set up in the area while police look for the males.
