1 injured in mobile home fire in central Las Vegas

One person was injured in an early morning mobile home fire in the central Las Vegas Valley.

The fire started about 1 a.m. at the El Dorado Estates Mobile Home Park at 4525 W. Twain Ave., near Arville Street, the Clark County Fire Department said in a statement.

When the department arrived, the mobile home was fully involved in fire and crews were able to extinguish it at a reported time of 1:28 a.m., Fire Department Chief Jeff Buchanan said.

One person was taken to University Medical Center for burns, but the extent of the injuries is unknown, Buchanan said.

The fire’s cause is under investigation. The cost of damages hasn’t been determined.
