Las Vegas firefighters said a Thursday blaze at a northwest valley apartment complex caused more than $750,000 in damage.
Authorities responded about 6:30 p.m. to the Ashford Manor Apartments at 2320 Tucumcari Drive, near Smoke Ranch Road and Jones Boulevard, where they discovered a fire in the attic of a 16-unit building.
The fire was fanned by 20 mph winds and took three hours to control.
There was significant damage to the building and about 25 people were displaced. The American Red Cross was assisting.
No one was injured.
Fire investigators ruled the blaze accidental.
