A bicyclist is in critical condition following a Friday afternoon car accident in the southeast valley.

Las Vegas police responded at 4:36 p.m. to reports that a bicyclist was struck by a car near Tropicana Avenue at Andover Drive. The bicyclist was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center in critical condition.

Tropicana is closed in both directions at Andover, near Boulder Highway.
