Car crashes into Tropical Smoothie cafe on Charleston
No one was hurt when a car crashed into a northwest valley smoothie cafe Monday morning.
A female driver said she “didn’t know what happened,” when she crashed her car into the Tropical Smoothie, 6350 W. Charleston Blvd., near the intersection at Torrey Pines Drive, about 11:45 a.m., said Neeru Piplani, who runs the franchise.
There were two to three customers in the restaurant at the time of the crash, Piplani said.
The drive-thru is operational, but customers can’t dine in for now because of the damage, Piplani said.
Las Vegas Fire Department originally thought that a person was trapped by the collision, but later reported that there were no injuries.
