The man who died after an apartment fire Monday has been identified.
The man killed was Austin Bryan, a 63-year-old Las Vegas resident, the Clark County coroner’s office said. His cause and manner of death have not been released.
About 11:30 a.m., Clark County Fire Department and Las Vegas Fire and Rescue responded to a fire at an apartment complex located at 8000 Spring Mountain Road near the intersection with Buffalo Drive, the fire department said.
Search crews found the body of Bryan, and firefighters battled the blaze to prevent it from spreading to adjacent units, Clark County spokesman Jeff Buchanan said.
Two adults were displaced by the fire and were assisted by the American Red Cross. The cause of the fire has not been determined.
