Coroner identifies woman killed in rollover crash

The woman who died in a rollover crash Saturday morning on Interstate 15 has been identified by the Clark County coroner.

The driver, identified Sunday as Erin Danielle Ockey, 20, of Henderson, was traveling on Interstate 15 approaching an off-ramp when her car went left and flipped over.

Ockey was traveling north on Interstate 15 at about 7:30 a.m., going toward the 215 Beltway west off-ramp, when her vehicle went left and flipped over landing at the I-15 southbound Las Vegas Boulevard on-ramp, Nevada Highway Patrol trooper Jason Buratczuk said.

The vehicle overturned and Ockey was ejected, Buratczuk said. She was the only passenger in the vehicle.

Ockey was taken to University Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead, Buratczuk said.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation, the highway patrol said.
