Coroner IDs man who died after crash near Las Vegas Strip

The motorcyclist who died Saturday after crashing into a fence and a pole has been named by the Clark County coroner.

The 24-year-old Las Vegas man was Juan Keller, the county coroner said. His cause and manner of death have not been determined.

Evidence at the scene showed Keller speeding northbound on Dean Martin Drive just after 10:35 a.m. where the road curves, police said. His motorcycle crashed into a fence just south of West Tropicana Avenue.

Police said Keller was thrown from his motorcycle and then struck a pole. He died at University Medical Center.

This is the 88th traffic-related fatality investigated by Metro this year.
