Southbound Las Vegas Boulevard is closed just south of the intersection of Silverado Ranch Boulevard because of “significant amounts” of debris from a car crash, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.
Northbound lanes reopened just before 12:30 p.m. Tuesday.
A man who was hospitalized after the crash was initially listed in critical condition. He was taken to University Medical Center’s trauma. Police said later in the day he remained stable.
The two-vehicle crash happened at 10:58 a.m., Metro officer Laura Meltzer said.
