Dining pick of the week: I Love Sushi

11041 S. Eastern Ave. at Sunridge Heights parkway, 990-4055

Sushi lovers flock to this restaurant because the chef's specials has a list of 113 sushi options. The first 76 are in alphabetical order starting with the Alaska roll and ending with the Yum Yum roll. The list continues with baked specials (Kamikaze hand roll, Volcano), deep-fried specials (Crazy Horse, Who's Your Ex-Wife?), shooters and special appetizers (garlic chili pepper edamame). Among the regular entrees are teriyaki, vegetable tempura, beef or seafood sukiyaki and tofu steak. Among the noodle dishes are udon, a hot broth with Japanese noodles with chicken, vegetables, shrimp or beef, and yakisoba, stir-fried Japanese egg noodles in special sauce with vegetables, seafood, chicken or beef. There is hibachi-tepanyaki, salads (chicken, sashimi, salmon skin) and appetizers such as gyoza (Japanese potstickers), fish tempura and tuna poki, cubed tuna with seaweed, onions and scallion in house sauce. The Vegas Boat can be ordered for up to five diners and includes beef teriyaki, shrimp and vegetable tempura, yakitori, salmon teriyaki, California roll, spicy tuna roll and sashimi (tuna, salmon, albacore). Entrees begin at $10.95. I Love Sushi is open from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 4 to 11 p.m. Sunday.
