“Really Bad Rice,” an exhibition featuring the work of artist Greg Allred, is set to be on display from July 16 to Oct. 8 during regular business hours at the Las Vegas City Hall Chamber Gallery, 495 S. Main St. The sculptures incorporate common objects, made of steel, in unlikely relationships. The sculpture is colored using various types of paint, charcoal and oil pastels. “Wunder Kammer,” an exhibit featuring the art of Kim Johnson, is scheduled to be on display through July 17 at the Winchester Cultural Center, 3130 McLeod Drive. Johnson’s sculptures and assemblages evoke the wonder chamber or cabinets of curiosity, a concept initiated in the 15th century for rooms and cabinets filled with items of natural, scientific, philosophic and alternative or fabricated artistic curiosities. The Clark County Commodore Computer Club plans to meet from 9 to 10 a.m. July 18 in Room 16 of the Clark County School District’s Adult Education Campus, 2701 E. A historic flag that is touring the country is set to be flown on the City Hall flagstaff, and the Las Vegas City Council plans to declare July 20 Nation of Patriots Day. The Mob Museum, 300 E. Stewart Ave. plans to host the Special Agents of Summer youth summer camp from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 27-31. The cost per camper is $240.
