NEIGHBORHOOD IMPROVEMENT FUNDS
AVAILABLE FROM CITY OF LAS VEGAS
Registered Las Vegas neighborhood associations are encouraged to apply for the Neighborhood Partners Fund grant .
The grant provides up to $5,000 toward improving the quality of a neighborhood. Types of projects that may qualify include senior citizen home-safety programs, murals and landscaping. The deadline to apply is Aug. 9.
Those interested are encouraged to register and attend one of six city workshops. Two sessions are in the downtown area, including one set for
9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the Doolittle Community Center, 1950 N. J St., and one slated for 5:30 to
7:30 p.m. July 31 at the East Las Vegas Community/Senior Center, 250 N. Eastern Ave.
