Henderson police: Dead ‘homeless man’ found near Jokers Wild casino

A body police described as a “homeless man” was discovered in a desert lot in Henderson on Wednesday.

Someone spotted the body about 11:30 a.m. while walking behind Jokers Wild casino on North Boulder Highway near East Warm Springs Road, Henderson police said.

A Henderson police spokeswoman said she did not have any details about the man’s age or the circumstances linked to his death.

The Clark County coroner’s office will release the man’s identity once it is confirmed and his family has been notified.
