Injured motorcyclist from July crash has died
A motorcyclist who was critically injured in a late July crash in the central valley has died, Las Vegas police said.
He is Bryant Howski, 19, of Las Vegas, according to the Clark County coroner's office.
At about 7:30 p.m. on July 31, Howski was eastbound on Sahara Avenue, west of South Rancho Drive, on a black 2002 Kawasaki ZX-6R when a blue 2005 Kia Sedona turned in front of him, crossing the eastbound lanes of Sahara, police said.
Howski was unable to stop and struck the driver's side of the Sedona, occupied by two adults and five children. The motorcyclist was thrown onto the roadway.
He was taken to University Medical Center and died on Sunday, police said.
This is the 62nd traffic-related fatality for Metro in 2015.
The driver of the Sedona, a 30-year-old woman, reported injuries but was not taken to a hospital.
