Knee injury prompts police rescue at Red Rock trail

Las Vegas police search and rescue are rescuing an injured hiker from Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area.

The 31-year-old woman has a knee injury, according to Metro spokesman Jesse Roybal.

Officers got the call at 1:51 p.m., Roybal said. The search and rescue air unit and the Las Vegas Fire Department responded to the call.

Metro was “en route to help injured hiker on the Pine Creek Canyon Trail at Red Rock Canyon,” the department tweeted at 2:32 p.m.
