Las Vegas morning update for Friday, December 22nd — VIDEO

Here are your Friday morning headlines:

1. The cause of death for each of the 58 victims killed in the Las Vegas shooting was released by the Clark County coroner’s office yesterday. The report confirmed that all of the victims died from at least one gunshot wound and every death was ruled a homicide. In a separate statement, the coroner confirmed that gunman Stephen Paddock died from a gunshot wound to the head through the mouth. His death was ruled a suicide.

2. A Las Vegas police captain who went missing earlier Thursday has been located safely. Police sent out a release Thursday afternoon asking for the public’s help in finding James LaRochelle. LaRochelle oversees the advanced training for the police academy.

3. Primm’s Fashion Outlets of Las Vegas is facing business and financial troubles. The mall has about 30 closed storefronts and a research firm reported this month that the mall’s $73 million mortgage is past maturity and hasn’t been paid off. Retailers said they are heavily dependent on tourist traffic and that holiday shopping has been slower than in years past.
