Las Vegas morning update for Saturday, September 2nd — VIDEO

Here are your Saturday morning headlines:

1. Bishop Gorman’s 55-game winning streak has come to an end. Last night the Gaels lost to top-ranked Mater Dei 35-21 in California. The Gaels had won 12 straight games against teams from California, and their last loss was on Oct. 4, 2013 against Miami’s Booker T. Washington. 2. A pregnant defense attorney was hit in court Thursday, by the woman she was representing. Her client, Shaunice McKinley, faces murder and robbery charges in connection with the May death of an 80-year-old man. She in court for a scheduled hearing when she struck her six-months pregnant attorney in the face. The attorney did not require medical attention, and has since dropped representation of McKinley.

3. Las Vegas’ most famous 80-foot-tall guitar is soon getting a new home. Hard Rock Cafe’s guitar sign is being removed, and will be placed on display at the Neon Museum in January. The guitar is 27-years-old and will need some maintenance before be placed on display next year.
