Las Vegas morning update for Sunday, December 17th — VIDEO

Here are your Sunday morning headlines:

1. Congressman Ruben Kihuen said Saturday that he will not seek re-election following accusations of sexually inappropriate behavior with woman. Kihuen told the Review-Journal that he denies the allegations in question, and is committed to fully cooperating with the House Ethics Committe. On Friday, the House Ethics Committee announced it would investigate the sexual harassment claims made against him.

2. The Golden Knights and the Animal Foundation are teaming up to help the rescued Pomeranians find homes for the holidays. The Pucks for Paws comminity event is Monday, to initiate the adoptions for 164 Pomeranians found in the back of a U-Haul truck last month. The event will be held at City National Arena following the Knights’ pracitce beginning at 11 a.m.

3. Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval and his wife have decided to seperate and plan to divorce after 27 years of marriage. Sandoval released a statement Friday saying “the demands of public life are hard on a marriage,” and that their marriage was impacted in ways they did not expect. The Sandovals were married in 1990, and have 3 children together.
