Las Vegas Motor Speedway businesses seek volunteers to help with Nellis Dunes cleanup

Two businesses based at Las Vegas Motor Speedway are teaming with the Bureau of Land Management to host a clean-up event at nearby Nellis Dunes on Saturday.

P2C Imaging and Second Chance Customs are looking for volunteers to help with what they hope will become an annual spring cleaning of the popular off-roading spot at the valley’s northeastern edge.

The clean-up is slated to start at 8 a.m. and last until about 2 p.m. on public land off Las Vegas Boulevard about 3 miles north of the speedway.

Those who participate will get lunch — courtesy of Abuela’s tacos and Las Vegas ATV Tours — and entry in a raffle.

The organizers also will provide all the necessary equipment for the clean-up, with the help of contributions from Maggianos, Real Man Cave Gear, Dirt Lawz, Sun Buggy and Republic Services.
