Las Vegas police looking for missing woman

Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a North Las Vegas woman who went missing on Thursday.

Yolanda Johnson, 30, was last seen 7:30 p.m. Thursday at her home in the 3700 block of Prairie Orchid Avenue, near Pecos and Washburn Roads, according to North Las Vegas police.

Johnson was reportedly waiting for a transport service earlier that day. Her roommate was concerned when Johnson didn’t return home and she later learned that Johnson was not picked up and had never arrived at her destination, police said in a release.

According to her family, Johnson has the mental capacity of a 13-year-old, can not care for herself and requires seizure medication.

Johnson is described as a female standing 5-feet-3-inches tall and weighing 170 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She has tattoos of a “Q” on her right hand and “Ball” on her left hand, as well as “169%” on the back of her neck. She is missing her top, front four teeth.

Anyone with information regarding Johnson’s whereabouts should call the North Las Vegas Police Department at 702-633-9111.
