Las Vegas police seek help in finding man linked to robbery

Las Vegas police are asking for the public’s help in finding a man suspected of attacking and robbing a woman in November.

A woman was robbed Nov. 27 while she was stopped in her vehicle near the intersection of Fort Apache Road and Hacienda Avenue, according to a Monday Metro news release. The robber pulled up beside the woman in his vehicle.

Her purse was on a seat in her vehicle, police said, and he grabbed her wallet. They fought over the wallet, and the man punched the woman in the face three times before she let go.

Police described the man as standing 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 170 pounds and between 25 and 28 years old.

Anyone with information can call the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Robbery Section at 702-828-3591 or, to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at (702) 385-5555 or visit www.crimestoppersofnv.com.
