Las Vegas World War II veteran honored on 100th birthday — PHOTOS

Dozens gathered outside the VA Medical Center, where a celebration was held for World War II Navy veteran William Darwin’s 100th birthday Tuesday.

Darwin, who was born Aug. 19, 1917, credits his 100 years of life t “eating healthy, laughing a lot and loving hard.” He still works part time at the Las Vegas Convention Center as a room monitor.
