The man, 35, killed in a crash near Coyote Springs on Wednesday has been identified as James Ingram of Alamo.
The Nevada Highway Patrol said Ingram died after his Chevrolet crossed the center median of U.S. Highway 93 into the northbound lanes of the highway shortly after 5 a.m. The vehicle struck an oncoming tractor-trailer .
Ingram died at the scene.
