Man indicted in Strip shooting

A Las Vegas man was indicted Friday in connection with a shooting on the Las Vegas Strip earlier this year.

Will Carter faces charges of attempted murder with the use of a deadly weapon, battery with the use of a deadly weapon, carrying a concealed firearm, possession of stolen property and discharging a firearm at or into an occupied structure.

The charges stem from a May 10 incident in which Darius Carroll was shot in the thigh outside the Planet Hollywood casino, according to court records.

The Taurus .357 magnum used in the shooting was stolen, records indictated.

Carter, who is free on bail, was scheduled to appear in court next month.
