A man was in serious condition Thursday after being shot several times the night before in the central valley, according to Las Vegas police.

Metro responded at 11:27 p.m. Wednesday to a call from the 2400 block of Atlantic Street, near St. Louis Avenue, where a man walking a bicycle was shot “several” times from a car as it drove by, spokesman Larry Hadfield said.

The man was taken to Sunrise Hospital in serious condition, Hadfield said.

No arrests had been made as of Thursday, Hadfield said, and the shooting is still under investigation.
