One person was injured and another was arrested in a stabbing near downtown Las Vegas, the Metropolitan Police Department said.

Officers were called just before 6 p.m. to the intersection of Martin Luther King and Charleston boulevards where a person was stabbed after an argument, Metro Lt. Harry Demetres said.

The stab wounds did not appear to be life-threatening and a suspect in the stabbing is in custody, Demetres said.
