Missing North Las Vegas man found

An endangered North Las Vegas man, missing since Thursday, returned home safely Saturday afternoon.

Police sought the public’s help in locating 19-year-old Joseph Horlacher. He was last seen Thursday when his mother dropped him off to play basketball at a church near Civic Center Drive and Tonopah Avenue. Horlacher reportedly left the church with a friend, but didn’t come home.

Horlacher is described as mentally handicapped and unable to care for himself. He takes daily medications that he does not have with him.

Horlacher stands 5-feet-5-inches tall and weighs 140 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a white and grey shirt, red basketball shorts with white trim, basketball shoes and white socks.

Anyone with information regarding Horlacher’s whereabouts were asked to contact the North Las Vegas Police Department at 702-633-9111.
