Motorcyclist dies after hitting light pole in Henderson

A motorcyclist died in Henderson after he struck a light pole Friday morning.
About 11:24 a.m., a motorcyclist left the roadway and struck a light pole on North Stephanie Street and Stufflebeam Avenue, near Russell Road, Henderson police spokeswoman Michelle French said.
The motorcyclist, identified only as a 47-year-old man, was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, where he died. The Clark County coroner’s office will release his name once his family has been notified.
