One person wounded in shooting at Cashman Park

A person was wounded in a shooting Sunday afternoon at a park on Desert Inn Road, near its intersection with Decatur Boulevard, Las Vegas police said.

The person was taken to University Medical Center and then sent into surgery, Metro Lt. Jeff Goodwin said. An update on the person’s medical condition, as well as age and gender of that person, was not immediately available.
