Pedestrian hit, killed on Boulder Highway

A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle Thursday evening in the southwest valley.

Police responded to the 6100 block of Boulder Highway, just north of the Russell Road intersection, at 5:31 p.m., said Metro Lt. Harry Demetres.

Medics pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene.
