Pedestrian killed in Wednesday crash identified

A pedestrian struck and killed by a vehicle Wednesday in the east valley was identified by the Clark County coroner’s office on Monday.

He is Eswin Lopez-Torrez, a 43-year-old Las Vegan, coroner’s office staff said.

Metro officers were called at 6:40 p.m. to a crash at the intersection of Charleston Boulevard and Frank Street, west of North Nellis Boulevard.

Further details on the crash were not available.
