Police investigate nonfatal shooting in central valley

Las Vegas police are investigating the shooting of a man at a central valley apartment complex Saturday night.

At 7:04 p.m., Metro responded to multiple calls from Sunset Pointe apartment complex, 2255 E. Sunset Road, where the man had been shot twice in the leg, Metro Lt. Jeff Goodwin said.

The man's injuries were non-life threatening, Goodwin said.
