Police seek leads in robbery

Las Vegas police are seeking the public’s help in identifying two people connected to a robbery near Harmon Avenue and Spencer Street.

The robbery occurred about 12:15 a.m. Aug. 5 when a man and a woman walked into a store near Boulder Highway and Harmon Avenue and asked the victim for a ride.

The victim agreed, and the man asked the driver to drop them off near Harmon Avenue and Spencer Street. As the driver pulled over, the man, who sat in the backseat, hit the driver in the head. The man and woman then robbed the victim of his cellphone and car.

The car was later found in Arizona.

The man is described as about 35 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall with black hair. He was last seen wearing a short-sleeved shirt and shorts.

The woman was about 25 years old, and was last seen wearing a black and white striped dress. Police believe the woman may be pregnant.
