About 900 NV Energy customers were without power briefly Monday evening, according to the utility company’s outage site.
The site reported 906 customers were without power just before 5:30 p.m. near Sahara Avenue and Industrial Road. Power was completely restored by 6:30 p.m., said NV Energy spokeswoman Jennifer Schuricht.
The cause of the outage was “animal contact with substation equipment,” Schuricht said. She couldn’t elaborate on what equipment was impacted or what animal caused the malfunction.
