Ramps reopen after truck Spaghetti Bowl semi crash

The ramps from Interstate 15 to northbound U.S Highway 95 and the Martin Luther King Boulevard exit have reopened after a fuel leak caused by a Wednesday tractor-trailer crash shut them for several hours, the Nevada Highway Patrol said.

The trailer spilled about 250 gallons of diesel fuel and the full cleanup lasted until about 9:30 a.m, NHP said.

The crash happened about 3:15 a.m. when the truck driver was trying to switch lanes from the exit ramp to Martin Luther King to the northbound U.S. 95 onramp, NHP trooper Loy Hixson said.

The ramps were shut down about 5 a.m., according to the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada.
