The officer was not hit.

It happened about 9 p.m. near the intersection of Carnegie Street and Horizon Ridge Parkway, Henderson police spokeswoman Kathleen Richards said. The officer tried to stop the robber, who fled in a vehicle.

Police set up a perimeter and were looking for the robber, Richards said about 9:45 p.m. Further details were not immediately available.
