Saturday night fight leads to fatal shooting at Boulder Highway

A Saturday night fight between two men ended in the shooting death of one man, according to a news release.

Patrol officers arrived about 6:50 p.m. Saturday to the 5300 block of Boulder Highway, following reports that a man had been shot.

Responding officers found a man lying in the parking lot suffering from a gunshot wound, police said. The man was taken to Sunrise Hospital Medical Center, where he died.

According to the release, the argument turned physical when the victim grabbed the other man and began to fight. The victim was shot one time. There have been no arrests, and the case remains under investigation.

This is the 31st homicide investigated by Las Vegas police this year.
