The site has a cleaner look and is more user friendly. Our homepage design is flexible and can change quickly as news breaks. Our photos and headlines are larger and are easier to see and read.
Video is placed high on the homepage to allow viewers a fast glimpse at our top stories of the day. The trending bar shows what stories people are talking about. The navigation bar is flexible and allows readers to navigate without scrolling to the top of the page. During a scroll, the site suggests what stories readers might like to read next.
In addition, the site has an improved search function with more filter options to allow readers to find the stories they are looking for. Menu navigation stays clean and simple, grouping stories by interest.
And expect the same compelling articles by our award-winning staff from the largest 24-7 news source in Nevada, including stories from our Carson City and Washington bureaus.
