Two victims of fatal I-15 accident identified

The two people killed Wednesday in a crash on Interstate 15 near Apex have been identified as Dani Jo Fox, 30, and her 3-year-old son, Zachary Fox, both of Overton.

An adult male and two other children were injured in the 4:30 p.m. crash involving a Ford pickup towing a trailer while traveling north on I-15. They were taken to University Medical Center. Dani Jo Fox and Zachary Fox were found dead at the scene of the crash.

The cause of the crash was not immediately known, according to a Nevada Highway Patrol spokesman.

On Wednesday, the strip of the interstate about 10 miles north of the Las Vegas Speedway was closed until about 9:30 p.m. while an investigation was being conducted.
