A driver was killed Monday morning after crashing into a semitrailer on Interstate 15 near Lamb Boulevard, according to Nevada Highway Patrol.
A woman driving a Buick sedan was traveling northbound on I-15 past Lamb Boulevard around 6:20 a.m.
She drifted across the dirt median and struck a semitrailer driving southbound, according to Trooper Jeremie Elliott.
The sedan was pushed back into the median. No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity will be released by the Clark County coroner’s office.
The driver of the semitrailer was uninjured.
Traffic in the area was restricted during the investigation but is now open on both sides.
