With balmy winter weather, Valley of Fire State Park in Southern Nevada has been a popular spot for visitors this year.

The park, covered in resplendent red sandstone, is about an hour’s drive northeast from Las Vegas.

The park fills about 42,000 acres, making it Nevada’s largest state park.
