No one was injured after an early Tuesday house fire in the central valley.
Firefighters from the Las Vegas and Clark County fire departments arrived at 2011 E. Phillips Ave. about 12:15 a.m. Tuesday.
LVFD spokesman Tim Szymanski said the fire started in a carport, and caused some damage to a bedroom.
At the scene, neighbors gathered around to watch firefighters hose down the carport.

Firefighters escorted two women, who were holding three small dogs, out of the home.
A palm tree down the street from the home also caught fire, but was quickly extinguished by firefighters who were already at the scene.
At 2 a.m. Tuesday, the cause of the fire was still under investigation and the cost of damage was estimated at $40,000.
