24-hour FireRock aimed at drawing off-the-Strip crowd

FireRock Steakhouse’s appeal to locals attracts customers, said dining manager Monica Losey.

“Not everyone wants to go and bombard the Strip,” she said.

The steakhouse chain, which is based in Casper, Wyoming, opened in the northwest valley in July 2015. It specializes in steak, chops and seafood.

Popular items include the Cajun-spiced ribeye ($27.95 for 12 ounces and $34.95 for 16 ounces), twin lobster tails ($49.95) and the black and bleu burger ($11.95).

Appetizers include Philly cheesesteak egg rolls ($10.95), barbecue pork nachos ($11.50), meatballs pomodoro ($11.95) and whiskey wings (a pound of jumbo chicken wings tossed in sweet and savory whiskey sauce for $10.95).

Although there’s a heavy meat focus, there are nonmeat options such as four-cheese ravioli ($15.95), pesto primavera ($16.95) and salads.
