School board members broke law but won’t be punished

The Nevada Commission on Ethics unanimously reached a settlement Wednesday with four Clark County School Board members and two former School Board members agreeing that each board member broke state law by spending taxpayer resources on campaigning. But they will receive no punishment.

Suspended Judge Jones still wants pay

Family Court Judge Steven Jones has filed notice that he is appealing to the Nevada Supreme Court his three-month suspension without pay over misconduct stemming from his relationship with a late prosecutor who appeared before him.
